Katie Griffieth

Hello, my name is Kaitlin Griffieth. I am the director here at Little Steps. I have been in childcare for 6 years and can’t wait to serve you as director. I am a step mom to two wonderful children, Levi and Everly, a godmother , and a fur mom to two cats. I love spending time with family and friends and going to the lake. I am so excited for this opportunity. I look forward to meeting each and everyone of you!

Jessica Cobb

Lead Teacher

Hello! My name is Jessica and I was born and raised here in Lexington! I love to paint, cook, spend time with friends and family, and travel. I'm an October baby and love Halloween as well as Thanksgiving and Christmas. I have two adopted fur babies Benny & Boo who are insanely cute and spoiled! I always wanted to be a vet or teacher growing up. I started my career in childcare at the age of 11, babysitting. In high school I worked part time with infants and toddlers for 3 years. Once I graduated I became a CNA and worked with veterans for a short period before returning to childcare. I love doing arts and crafts and singing with the kids but most importantly have fun while learning! With almost 15 years of experience working with children I can say without a doubt it's the most rewarding job in the world! I believe children can teach us as much as we can teach them.

Jordan Masharbash

Assistant Teacher

Hello! My name is Jordan Masharbash I was born and raised in Lexington! I graduated from Tates creek high school class of 09 and went on to cosmetology school the following year. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, traveling, cooking, crafting, and  love coffee/trying new coffee shops. I worked at a restaurant here in town through school but quickly became the go-to babysitter for a hand full of co-workers. In this time I realized that I loved caring for children and being a part of their early learning and development process. It was so rewarding to me to watch the children grow and know that I had a part in navigating them to be the best versions of themselves. I am currently in the process of obtaining my CDA (child development associate) and and thankful to be able to open up our doors to the community!

Raina Masharbash

Assistant Teacher

Hello! My name is Raina Masharbash, I am currently a student at U.K. majoring in Arts Administrations. I have been a dancer since the age of 3 and believe that growing up being able to express myself through art and creativity has been a huge role in shaping me into the person I am today! I started teaching dance classes and leading camps to young children at the age of 16 and absolutely love how rewarding it is to share expression and growth through art to others! I am so excited to bring the arts and creativity into Little Steps Childcare. I am also a few weeks away from obtaining my CDA and have loved the process of learning how to best nurture your children's specific needs and development!
